Peterjohn 1989: "As winter visitors, White-fronteds are casually encountered along western lake Erie and accidental elsewhere". Peterjohn did not recognized conclusive overwintering of the species due to confusion with exotics.

	1990-91: A report from Spring Valley (Greene Co.) 24 February; likely a spring migrant. 1991-92: An immature (documented as a "Greenland race") from Pleasant Hill Res. (Richland Co.) 23 February; likely a spring migrant. Hamilton CBC, no date, 2 1992-93: None reported. 1993-94: Killdeer Plains W.A. (Wyandot Co.), Two adults on the 8th Dec. (reported as "Greenlands"; pers. comm. Ed Hearne) Hamilton CBC, 18 Dec. 1 adult through the 13th January. ONWR count, 5 Dec., Two Toledo CBC, no date. 1994-95: Painseville dump (Lake Co.), 1 from 10-12 January. Mason (Warren Co.), 1 ad. 27 January. Adams Lake S.P. (Adams Co.), 1 ad. and 1 imm. 18 February.
