An Audubon Important Bird Area

At left is a small segment of the gathering of Canada Geese along the Port Clinton beach. This annual staging has seen about double the average of recent years. Today, Ned Bixler and myself independently estimated 3000+ Canadas. With any such concentration, it is always worth a closer look for that odd bird.
What are those little ones above?


A Snow Goose, especially an adult white morph, is going to stand out amongst the throng.

But what is that white-headed goose in the upper left of the picture?
