Subject: Re: Geneva TWP Oriole Date: Sat, 23 Nov 2002 18:34:59 -0500 At the intersection of Lake an Meyers Rd in Ashtabula County today I had a 1st fall Baltimore Oriole. It was quite approachable and kept returning to the sugar water feeders on my brothers lake front home. We put out some oranges and some special home made suet, so maybe it will be hanging around for a few days. It was working the fence and seeking insects, it was visiting the feeder next to the shed by the fence. I was able to call it in very close using the males spring call, and it responded in a chatter I have not heard an oriole make before. Scott Wright North Olmsted, Ohio
